Omunjandi Restcamp sits on the banks of the Kunene River, just outside Ruacana in far north-western Namibia. It’s an off-grid, nature-focused spot shaded by big Omunjandi trees, ideal for travelers who want quiet, wide skies, and easy access to the Ruacana Falls. The camp is known for birdlife, hiking, and river angling, with simple comforts and traditional Namibian hospitality. The restaurant on site serves as a social hub for guests and overlanders passing through.

Landmark: ~9 km from Ruacana Waterfalls (good for half-day visits and photos when river levels are up).
Campsites (x5): Shaded, each with a braai/BBQ stand and dish-washing point. Guests use a clean communal ablution block with hot showers and flush toilets. Mobile network (MTC/TN) typically works; there’s no permanent Wi-Fi.
Tented Rooms (new/luxury tents): En-suite bathrooms with hot shower + flush toilet, interior lighting, and phone charging points.
Self-catering Chalet (1 unit): Sleeps up to 4 people; en-suite, private braai area; daytime power window (typically 09:00–14:00) for lights/charging; very private setting.
